1. Purpose
sent2gmail is a personal email synchronization utility that copies messages from email accounts controlled by the user into that user's Gmail account.
2. Authorized Use
The application should only be used with email accounts and Gmail accounts that the user owns or is authorized to access.
3. User Responsibility
The user is responsible for:
- maintaining control of their email and Google accounts;
- protecting account credentials and OAuth tokens; and
- ensuring their use complies with their email provider's and Google's terms.
4. Service Behavior
sent2gmail attempts to synchronize sent messages into Gmail while preserving the original message structure.
The application may rely on Message-ID, In-Reply-To, References, Subject, IMAP UIDs, and Gmail thread identifiers to perform synchronization.
5. No Email Sending Service
sent2gmail does not provide an email delivery service and does not use the Gmail API to send email to recipients.
6. Availability
The application is provided on a best-effort basis. Synchronization may be interrupted by network outages, email provider issues, Google API availability, OAuth authorization changes, or other technical conditions.
7. No Warranty
sent2gmail is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss resulting from interruption, synchronization failure, provider outages, or unauthorized access outside the operator's reasonable control.
9. Privacy
Use of sent2gmail is also covered by the Privacy Policy.
